Honestly, the best dealership ever. They always take amazing care of me. I came in today because my oil lamp came on, and 2 minutes after I walked in, my car is already in the shop getting looked at. I had a really disappointing experience with City Volkswagen of Evanston, pre-owned department. I found a used 2020 Tacoma TRD Off-Road (VIN: 3TMCZ5ANXLM313696) on their site and negotiated a deal remotely, as I’m based in Michigan. I told them I’d be taking a 6-hour train to pick it up.
About 90 minutes into the trip, I got a call saying one of their porters had an accident and damaged the front bumper and headlight (see photo). I get that accidents happen, but their solution? $500 off, a rushed bumper repaint, and shipping me a new headlight—for me to install.
